iFLO SYSTEM – ThyssenKrupp
ThyssenKrupp, one of the leading elevator companies in the world, engaged Kennovations to provide conceptual designs for a range of mounting systems for their newly created iFLO System. The iFLO (Intelligent Functional Lift Operation) System is a revolutionary communication system that effortlessly guides people to their designated level. Savings in travel time is achieved through an advanced call management system which delivers effective elevator control by incorporating user friendly touch screens, key pads or access cards which identify the required floor.
The iFLO System is comprised of six key features including Destination Control, Access Control, Non-Proprietary, Aesthetics/Design, Energy Efficiency and Handicap Compliance. Provided with the details of existing hardware, Kennovations developed conceptual solutions for the embodiment of the system in turnstiles, wall mounts, pedestal mounts and concierge mounts. The design of the system is very sleek and modern reflecting the elegant, modern nature of the software and the refined aesthetics of the intended environment. Kennovations provided a range of concepts before refining the overall design as well as advising on compliance of the hardware to Australian Standards.
