ROW BOAT STORAGE - Space Saver Rowing
Space Saver Rowing Systems (SSRS) is dedicated to providing innovative, safe and efficient storage solutions for rowing clubs around the world. SSRS engaged Kennovations to assess and develop a concept they had for a mechanical boat storage solution that would eliminate many of the OH&S issues associated with lifting boats into storage positions above head-height. The Mechanical Boat Stacker is an automated lifting unit which allows for easy access and storage of rowing boats. The design is based around a hoisting system attached to a series of cantilevered arms that are raised and lowered on rollers. The Mechanical Boat Stacker is an innovative storage system for rowing clubs, maximizing the space available to store boats and providing rowers with safe, efficient boat storage/retrieval giving them more time to spend out on the water.
