FIBREGLASS SPIRAL STAIRCASE - Nextep
Nextep’s FRP structural products provide the leading edge in construction materials. Kennovations worked with Nextep to develop a submersible fiberglass spiral staircase to access the interior of large industrial water tanks. To achieve the high corrosion resistance required the structure was made from a fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) material. The complexity of the design project was due to the number of components and spherical shape of the product. The product is now used in Sydney and Nextep is looking into 6 further contracts using the same design.
