Fall Alert is an innovative safety personal alarm device for body harness users when working at heights. It was specifically designed to prevent Suspension Trauma, also known as Harness Hang Syndrome (HHS), the main killer of harness users in fall accidents. In these types of accidents response time is critical to survival. Fall Alert attaches to the lanyard points on the harness and is activated when the person falls. Fall Alert is GSM enabled (Global System for Mobile Communications) and uses this technology to send pre-programmed customised SMS messages to alert emergency rescue services and other important contacts of the fall accident (e.g. Ambulance, Safety Officer, Site Forman, Family Members etc). The rugged design also features an audible alarm and flashing LED lights to alert people nearby. Fall Alert is programmable, rechargeable and fixes to a wide range of harnesses and lanyards.
