DUNLOP VOLLEY WAREHOUSE - Marilyn & Sons

Marilyn & Sons is an Australian creative communications agency based in Melbourne. They have a reputation for unique, unusual and unexpected ideas that demand attention. In 2009 Marilyn & Sons engaged Kennovations to assist them in developing some pseudo-serious comedy products for their Dunlop Volley (shoes) Warehouse campaign. The campaign was an internet based ‘viral’ style campaign centred on the gaudy, retro design of the Dunlop Volley Warehouse website which advertised a series of ridiculous but feasible products for sale. The Kennovations brief was to bring their ideas to life with some limited functionality for realism. Kennovations developed four products; the Gig Viewer, Not Just Metal Pedal, Close Call and the Dish Jockey.
