Strewth Snowboarding is a startup company based in Sydney, Australia focused on the advancement of snowboarding through innovation and high performance product design.

Kennovations worked with Strewth Snowboarding to design and develop fully functioning prototypes for the new generation Strewth SLS Step-In Snowboard Bindings. These unique snowboard bindings combine the ease and speed of a step-in (bindings that allow you to step-in and ride without having to stop and strap in before every run) with the feel and performance of a traditional two strap binding. The Strewth SLS bindings feature hands-free operation by using body weight to automatically lock the boot in the bindings to a pre-set tension, and lever to quick release the locking mechanism. The bindings are designed for high performance; they are strong, lightweight and prevent snow ingress from affecting performance or efficiency.

Strewth SLS Step-In Snowboard Bindings have been designed and developed over the past couple of years and prototypes have been refined and tested. Strewth Snowboarding are using the increasingly popular crowd source funding website, Indiegogo, to assist in raising funds for the production design phase with plans to launch the product to market in 2013.
