The new Fall Alert was developed for harness users to prevent suspension trauma (Harness Hang Syndrome) and deaths in fall accidents by significantly reducing critical response and rescue time. This innovative product attaches to the harness, detects when a fall has occurred and uses GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) technology to immediately send pre-programmed SMS messages to alert emergency rescue services and other important contacts. The rugged design also features an audible alarm and flashing LED lights to alert people nearby. Fall Alert is programmable, rechargeable and fixes to a wide range of harnesses and lanyards. Fall Alert was launched at The Safety Show in Sydney 25-27 October.
