The Product
The Electric ‘MINICON’ Concrete Saw provides a powerful and reliable diamond-blade cutting tool for the construction and hire industry. The saw has a maximum cutting depth of 110cm and is warranted for a 14-inch blade, using standard 240V mains supply power. By eliminating the danger of carbon monoxide fumes common to its petrol powered competition, the Electric ‘MINICON’ Concrete Saw cuts freely indoors and in confined spaces where other saws cannot go.
The Process
Kennovations identified an opportunity to develop an electric powered cutting saw because of the inability for petrol powered saws to be used indoors or in confined areas without ventilation. Following extensive product and market research, Kennovations entered the process of 3D design, prototyping and testing based on industry feedback before managing volume production of the saw with Australian manufacturers.
