The Product
The Liberty Swing is a revolutionary new concept in playground swing equipment enabling the wheelchair-bound and the disabled to enjoy the fun and recreation of swinging.
The Process
Having designed and developed a fully functioning product virtually by hand, the client approached Kennovations to produce full design documentation systems for the product by ‘reverse engineering’. Kennovations disassembled the entire product and re-built each part and assembly in 3D computer aided designs format, re-designing where necessary to introduce improvements or cut costs in the production process.
The Result
The comprehensive design documentation produced by Kennovations allows us to work with the client to quickly introduce and document ongoing design improvements. The product has been successfully introduced into the Australian market, and internationally in the USA and France.
